Business Description

Established in 2012 by founder and entrepreneur Cody Warren, Two Men & A Vacuum began as Columbus, Ohio’s top cleaning company for residential, commercial, post-construction and janitorial cleaning services. In 2016 the company expanded to Cleveland. Two Men is committed to raising the bar in the cleaning industry by using eco-friendly products, employing cutting edge technology and hiring quality talent in an industry that often relies on cheap labor and toxic cleaning products.
We’ve always been committed to raising the bar in the cleaning industry and that includes the products we use. We couldn’t find any cleaning products that are easy on the environment and your nose while being tough on dirt - so we developed our own based on the needs of our cleaning clients.

The next phase of the business is focused on the Two Men & A Vacuum home and cleaning product range made with pure and powerful ingredients in Ohio.
The product range includes six essentials including an All-Purpose Cleaner, Glass Cleaner, a candle, Room Refresher, Car Refresher, a Bar Soap, Hand and Body Lotion and a SuperPower Scrub.

The products come in four debut scents including Fresh & Clean, Bourbon & Honey, Ginger & Lime and Wasabi & Awapuhi.

Our expansion plan in the near future is to grow throughout the state of Ohio either by new locations or by acquisitions. We ultimately want to expand in other states on a national level. We own all the franchise rights on a national and international level and our ten year goal is to have 250 locations throughout the United States.

Target Market

For the cleaning arm of the business, we target residents of the Columbus and Cleveland greater metropolitan areas. Over 50% of our residential clients are ages 25-44 with a 60% female and 40% male breakdown. Our commercial clients skew male with a 60% to 40% breakdown.

Business Model

We plan to expand rapidly through a franchise system. Two Men & A Vacuum is America's newest and most innovative cleaning Franchise model. We have not only addressed and conquered the issues in the industry, but we also have created a proven system, which we consider to be turnkey. From having insurance needs addressed all the way to the digital marketing system, Two Men will allow the Franchisee to hit the ground flying.

Local Impact

We are currently looking to build our client list on the cleaning company side - if our Columbus growth has been any indication (where we have over 1000 clients and 80 employees), we will need to hire upwards of 50 Dirt Specialists for various home, office, post-construction and commercial cleaning jobs in addition to more hires to help create and produce the product in high volume. We want to work with other Cleveland businesses and to work with local bloggers and journalists and really consider this product line a product of Ohio - this state has unparalleled talent and resources for creating consumer products which we are leveraging.
