Cleaning, Disinfecting and Sanitizing: Whats the Difference?

Many people use the terms cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing interchangeably. While disinfecting is closely related to sanitizing, they are not the same thing. Under normal circumstances, such as in your home or business setting, cleaning and disinfecting may be all that is needed to keep germs at bay, but some situations require sanitization as well.
