We spoke with Julie Friedman, Managing Director of the historic Dobama Theatre about her experience as a commercial client of Two Men & A Vacuum! 1.) Tell us about yourself/your job and your company.
Dobama Theatre’s mission is to premiere the best contemporary plays by established and emerging playwrights in professional productions of the highest quality. Through educational and outreach programming, Dobama Theatre nurtures the development of theatre artists and builds new audiences for the arts while provoking an examination of our contemporary world. Dobama Theatre is the region’s third full-time Equity House, and its only full-time Small Professional Theatre (SPT) level Equity Theatre. Our commitment to professionalism is another step in creating first-rate productions of cutting-edge new plays for Northeast Ohio, while more fully supporting local professional theatre artists.
2.) How did you find Two Men and how did you choose them to be your commercial cleaning company?
We found them through the Thumbtack website; their quick and personal response to our inquiry made them stand out.
3.) What makes Two Men different? Have you had any bad experiences with other cleaning companies?
From the beginning, Two Men took a very hands-on approach to our specific needs as a theatre space.
Their staff came to assess the location and engaged us in a professional yet friendly way about our options.
4.) What were you looking for in your first clean/was there any special consideration they needed to take for your office?
Since we weren’t hiring for office cleaning, but rather the cleaning of our 160-seat theatre and lobby, we were looking for flexibility in both the approach to the job itself and the hours available for it. We were impressed by the deep clean that Two Men gave their first time out. It was clear that their level of professionalism matches ours.
5.) What would you say to someone who's considering hiring professionals in their office but isn't sure they need it?
Time is also money, and although your company may not be using a professional cleaner yet, they should take a look at who in the organization is spending their valuable time cleaning the office, and whether that pulls them away from their other, more vital responsibilities. Take a look at several companies to see who not only will offer a fair price, but also to get a sense of how they treat you before you are committed.
