4.) Spot clean your carpet (or bring in the professional cleaners)

To take care of water-soluble carpet stains, you can make your own stain remover by mixing one teaspoon of mild dishwashing liquid, like Dawn, into one quart of warm water, and adding 1/4 teaspoon of white vinegar.
5.) Inspire your cube-mates and neighbors to do the same!
There’s nothing less inspiring than seeing your neighbors chaotic space, especially after you’ve tidied up.
